ECELA: logistics and freight forwarding software
ECELA is web-based operations software for freight forwarders that brings quotes, shipment files, operations tracking, invoicing, email and team communication into one platform, covering air, sea, road and rail shipments.

Overview
ECELA is a web-based operations platform that Boran Software introduced in 2026 for freight forwarding companies. Quotes, shipment files, operations tracking and invoicing move forward on the same record: an accepted quote becomes an operations file in one click, and the costs linked to the file become a draft invoice when the file is closed. Emails, team chat and AI suggestions sit next to the relevant shipment file, so sales, operations and accounting work on the same screen. The platform runs in the browser, needs no installation and its interface is available in Turkish, English, Russian and French. Website: https://ecela.net

Logistics, CRM and accounting on one platform
ECELA is logistics software: it manages air, sea, road and rail shipments, including domestic road freight, with part and full loads in one list. On the sales side, customer records, quote history and a status-based quote flow act as a logistics CRM; an accepted quote becomes an operations file in one click. On the accounting side, file costs flow into draft invoices, invoices are issued in USD, EUR and TRY with VAT and withholding calculated, and accounts and due dates are tracked on the same record. Sales, operations and accounting teams work in one system instead of separate programs.
Quotes and files
Quotes are prepared with customer, route and transport mode details and move from draft to accepted through a status-based flow. In the quote wizard, revenue items charged to the customer and cost items are entered in separate groups with charge codes, and the live preview shows revenue, cost and profit together. An accepted quote becomes an operations file in one click, with no data re-entered. Files are opened, followed and closed in a single list that can be filtered by transport mode, direction (import, export, domestic), status, ETD and customer, and the list can be exported to Excel.
Operations tracking
During operations, the bill of lading, customs, demurrage and milestones are followed on a single timeline. Each file's status, owner and pending tasks are always visible, and the team works on the same screen instead of scattered Excel files and email chains. The calendar and operations, shipment tracking and document archiving modules keep the file's documents and dates in one place. Critical actions go through approval steps defined by management, and who approved what and when is recorded.
Invoicing and accounts
Invoices are prepared in multiple currencies with VAT and withholding calculated, and transactions can be made in USD, EUR and TRY. When a file is closed, the costs linked to it are moved automatically into a draft invoice, so an item created during operations is not left off the invoice. Account balances and due dates are kept up to date in real time, and exchange rates and charge codes are managed from the finance menu. Invoice and account data can be exported in standard formats; on the Enterprise plan, a custom integration with the company's accounting software is developed.
Email, chat and AI
With IMAP, operational emails are brought into ECELA and each email is matched automatically to the relevant shipment file with a confidence score; attachments move to the file's documents tab in one click. A shared inbox and multiple email accounts are supported. File-based channels and group chats tied to the shipment file keep booking confirmations, documents and decisions next to the load, and branches and departments can work through a single channel. The AI layer watches the inbox and files, extracts and summarises critical details such as cut-off, ETA and container from email, and offers the next step — such as "Set a cut-off alert" or "Create a quote" — as a one-click suggestion.
Administration and permissions
From company settings to user permissions, the administration layer sits in one panel. User permissions are granted with ready-made role templates and can be fine-tuned per screen and per action, so each user sees only what they need. Mandatory or optional approval steps are defined for critical actions. Currencies, VAT rates and numbering templates are managed centrally, and branch management is part of the package feature list. Every record carries a complete audit trail showing who changed what and when; data travels over an encrypted connection and is stored on redundant infrastructure.
Transport modes and plans
ECELA supports air, sea, road and rail shipments, including part and full loads, and higher plans add multimodal, RoRo and intermodal options. The plan feature list includes email integration, quote management, calendar and operations, approval workflow, accounting and invoicing, marketing tools, an AI assistant, shipment tracking, document archiving, Reporter access and branch management. Plans differ by number of users, storage, supported transport modes and AI model options; unlimited quotes, updates and standard support are included in every plan. Pricing is a monthly per-user subscription with a discount for annual payment, and a custom offer is prepared for larger organisations.
